Kim joined the Board of Directors in early 2013 and traveled to Cameroon that summer to see the impact for herself. She is based in Philadelphia and serves on the fundraising committee.
Matthew Weissberg, President
Director, Technology Infrastructure Services Operations Processes, PNC Financial Services Group
Matt joined the Board in 2014 and led the strategic planning process, managing a team of experienced sport-for-development professionals from across the country, soon after getting involved. He traveled to Cameroon in the summer of 2016 to meet the local management team and connect with the youth we serve. He is based in Pittsburgh with his wife and two boys.

Martell has been involved with CameroonFDP since 2013. He serves on the Taste of Africa committee and fundraising committee and is actively involved with our young supporters in Pittsburgh. Martell traveled to Cameroon in summer 2016 and realized one of his dreams by visiting Africa before the age of 30.

Tim joined the board in late 2014 and has become actively involved in our strategic partnerships and serves as the chair of the fund development committee. Tim is a long-time resident of the Pittsburgh-region and an avid traveler.
Former Corporate Counsel and Director, International Trade Compliance, II-VI Incorporated
Steve joined the Board in 2018. He is a corporate lawyer with a focus in international trade law and most recently served as in-house counsel for a publicly traded, engineered materials and laser technology company with operations throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. An avid traveler, Steve has visited nearly 40 countries and every continent except for Antarctica. Steve is based in his native Pittsburgh after stints in DC, Madrid, New York and Kosovo.
Sylvia Nanji, Board Member Emeritus
Professional Certified Coach, New Balance Coaching at Nanji and Associates
“Mama” Sylvia, as she is affectionately known, has been on the Board since 2013 and serves as the liaison to the Cameroonian Community in Pittsburgh. She lives just outside the city of Pittsburgh; while on retirement she still remains quite active as a grandmother of five.
Ghejung Awunti, Director Emeritus
Ghejung joined the board in 2014 and is responsible for strategic planning and partnerships in Cameroon. He has extensive travel and work experience and is a native to the Northwest Region of Cameroon. He lives outside of Pittsburgh with his wife and three children.
